Watching this Gundam OVA series finally for Great Gundam Project. it's 3x2 episode OVA and it looks like a fucken PS2 game
MS IGLOO Ep1- The Vanishing Serpent Of Loum
we're with some Zeeks, they are researching better ways to kill Feddies they've got a big gun they bring to the battle of loum.
it looks like a ps2 cut scene
it basically is.
the space combat doesn't make any sense.
god this looks so strange. all the character acting is like way over-done but there's not enough technology to make the lips look good so it's just very campy??
wow cool char aznable, they were a part of history, just feet off-screen in the original telling we promise
who needs big guns when you have fucking mobile suits?? they're all fighting broad-side and shit, doesn't make any sense, especially when you see the ships have this very nimble maneuverability in an earlier scene with a retreat
becoming a conspiracy truther about how the battle of loum was staged, that zaku bazookas couldn't possibly destroy magellan class war ships in one hit and that the federation was in on it so that they could justify accelerated development of their own mobile suit arsenals. ultimately, the real villain of the Universal Century is Anaheim Electronics, etc etc
god it was cool when he fired the gun tho
MS IGLOO Ep2- Howls Stained In Dust
"we're in the desert. i guess that could be anywhere but it looks like Holbrook, FUcking Arizona", next scene "128th supply unit, arizona"
yess i finally get to see the Hildolfr
what an incredibly unremarkable episode, the guy just does drugs and gets killed in a big fight??
but i was definitely right about northern arizona, theres a map showing it as just south of flagstaff, and we'll ignore that that is more pine-y than high desert.
MS IGLOO Ep3- Dance of the Orbital Ghosts
we got da ballllz
not enough of em
but this whole business with the zudah and the corporate politicking of zeon is almost interesting
the balls are back and they're big
